Facility
The Japan Cell Facility – Our facility located in Machida, Tokyo manufacturing space includes state of the art fabrication, cutting, grinding, polishing, clean room, coating chamber and metrology. The factory houses a unique combination of manufacturing equipment, capabilities and highly trained personnel to produce some of the most demanding optical components. Here's one of our production process.
Cutting
Our machine can generate parts like thin plates and block shape.
Grinding
After cutting the material, grinders removes unwanted material from one side of a part while considering the next production process.
Polishing
We polish the parts up to optical surface flatness required for optical contact bonding.
Bonding
Critical assemblies such as Optical contact technology, Japan Cell’s core craftsmanship, are produced in the clean room with the cleanliness level of ISO6 (class 1000).
Machining
Various processing such as drilling is possible for the structure after optical contact bongding.
Washing
The washing/cleaning systems remove dirt and residues after machining.
Coating
Coating can be applied to substrates, lens and opticaly contacted components.
Metrology
The image dimensional measuring device can measure the complicated shapes after processing with high accuracy. We also have various measurements such as surface roughness measuring instruments, interferometers, and spectrophotometers to provide high quality optical components.
