- Japan Cell starts development of "synthetic quartz laser cell" related to "atomic laser method" under development by Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation.
- 1995
- Japan Cell is in charge of manufacturing "quartz vacuum cells for crystal growth" for space experiments.
- 1996
- Japan Cell starts development of sapphire container for helium-3 gas container for polarization system.
- 1996
- Japan Cell launchs vacuum deposition business. Patent applications for synthetic sapphire joining method and synthetic sapphire cell manufacturing method is filed in the United States, Europe, South Korea, and Japan.

- Japan Cell receives the certification of "Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Creation Activity Promotion Law".
